Through the Educate to Innovate Initiative, the current administration has made the case that investments in STEM programs (science, technology, engineering and math) are essential to maintaining the status of international competitiveness. But since the start of the program in 2009, the importance of computer programming education is still being misunderstood and inadequately addressed. Though the administration has tried to get more technology into schools, it’s failed to teach kids what could really help them compete internationally which is coding. Computer programming is the driving force behind all forms of computer technology. Without programmers, these machines could be more innovative and capable than mankind could ever imagine, but if there is no one to program, there is no way for computers to perform needed tasks. Though technology has become such a key point in the national discussion on education, computer literacy is still sometimes confused with computer science. While computer literacy refers to word processing and knowledgeable use of the Internet, computer science refers to the study of algorithmic processes, hardware and software designs, and ways to impact society with technological innovation. Abstract The deaf culture is one that I am not familiar with. No one in my immediate family or none of my close friends are deaf so I have not been exposed to it during my lifetime. I decided to take an American Sign Language course in high school to not only learn the language, but to learn about the deaf culture as well. I would like to someday be fluent in sign language so that I can cater to the deaf community while conducting business. Conducting research, I learned a lot about to deaf community. And, while it may not seem fair, in reality,morality is judged by humans. So, if you are immoral, other people will be theones that notice that you are immoral, and that can hurt personal relationships. One way that I have succeeded throughout my career is by knowing and beingfriends with a lot of people. The practical side of life is based on interpersonal relationships. If people think that you are immoral,than they will not respect you, or be willing to work with you. Moral law has helped me besuccessful in everything that I do. Being a 65 year old man, I have seen a lot. I know the value of moralphilosophy. Moral philosophy has helped me be successful in every thing that Ihave done. You may ask, How has it helped you be successful? Well, I havetold you a couple of aspects of moral philosophy, and all of these aspects havehelped me keep things in perspective. Financial success will come with morality,but if it doesnt, then you will still be better off because you have led amoral life.
